Welcome to the forums!

You did the right thing by taking Norton off there.  Any product that would leave your system all jacked just for removing it is not trustworthy IMO.  I use AVG free and got it from download.com.

I think this will be an easy fix for you.  Open your web browser (Internet Explorer) and at the menu bar at the top, click TOOLS then choose INTERNET OPTIONS.  Then select the SECURITY tab and click the INTERNET icon.  Now click the button there that says DEFAULT LEVEL.

(It defaults then to having the "Protected Mode" enabled, but personally I prefer it disabled).

Then click OK to save the changes and restart the PC.

You should now be able to use the Yahoo mail website.

Let me know if this works and good luck!

Try changing security level from Medium High (default level) to MEDIUM.

You may want to try also in the INTERNET OPTIONS under ADVANCED click RESTORE ADVANCED SETTINGS.
