Turn on Telnet in Vista.
« on: May 26, 2008, 01:27:17 AM »
By default Vista does not have the telnet client (and server for that matter) installed.

Here are the easy steps to install it:

1) START
2) CONTROL PANEL
3) PROGRAMS & FEATURES
4) TURN WINDOWS FEATURES ON OR OFF (on the left side)
5) CLICK ON Telnet Client

It will take a few minutes for it to work but you now have Telnet installed.

Thanks for the advice, but what should I be using Telnet for?
I must travel the path of conquest... power is necessary in order to walk that path.
