not every time but wheni try to reboot or just boot up windows, freezes when the windows screen is up.  The moving motion bar under the windows signia just stops, and then after awhile the computer will shut down.  I wasn't for sure if it had to do with faulty keyboard and mouse?  any advise or solutions?

Try booting into "safe mode".  Have you tried that?  Also, if you have any hardware that you installed yourself like graphics card or sound card or anything, try removing that.

I have a really funny but extremely frustrating problem.  I cannot get my Windows XP to boot up.  On the black boot-up screen, after it displays "Verifying DMI Data Pool ..." it just displays "YoYo" and then fails to boot.

I have tried doing a repair with the bootable Windows XP CD and also have dome FIXBOOT and FIXMBR from the Recovery Colsole.  Nothing seems to work!

That is  a virus and you will have to run a "boot time virus scan" or do a repair reinstall of XP.
