Windows resets after bootscreen - STPD.sys cannot load up
« on: April 28, 2006, 09:40:37 PM »
My Windows loads BIOS and goes good and then runs the bootscreen and then suddenly goes to the options screen taht says to choose Safe Mode, Last Good Known Configuration and Start Windows Normally and doesn't matter what i choose it resets and says to check if i have enough hdd space. Also on safe mode it doesn't loads up a "STPD.sys cannot load up" thing and well it's all the time resetting. By the way i was downloading a file and it was bigger than my space, i think that my hdd is full.

Hi,

I have seen this stpd error before.  Try booting up in safe mode.  If it will not, you might want to try mounting the drive as a slave in another system and browsing to some unnecessary files and cleaning them out and see if that helps you ~drive overfull~ situation.
