mcacr.dll - Avast Detected Virus, Win32:Trojan-gen

My PC has been acting kinda funny lately and when I performed a scan with Avast, it detected the following:

c:\windows\system32\mcacr.dll - Avast Detected Virus, Win32:Trojan-gen

I subsequently did a REPAIR and and boot-time scan.  After rebooting I ran the same scan again and again the virus was detected.  I will report back later with the solution to this.

OK, got it figured out.  I used Avast to rename the file to mcacr.dll.vir and then rebooted.  WOW, now my computer is running so much faster!  If anyone else experienced this same thing, let me know.
