64-Bit Windows

Anyone have any news when the 64-bit version of windows will be arriving? I have had a 64-bit processor for quite sometime and can only use it when in Linux... would love to use in Windows as well.

Windows is focusing 64-bit efforts on Vista, there next newest Windows PC OS release since XP.  It is coming slowly though since the drivers are so different and all the software vendors must also play along.  It is more work and costs them more so it will just take time.  No official release date as of yet, although I would like to find some inside information on this :)

Doesn't Microsoft know the golden rule of KISS (Keep It Simple Stupid)... there are going to be people out there that are not going to know WHAT to buy.
