Tip: Quick Enable/Disable Desktop Composition
« on: December 20, 2008, 12:37:14 PM »
You may notice a new feature in Windows Vista named Desktop Composition.
If you are a gamer or power user you may benefit from freeing up unnecessary resources that are being used by Vista's visual styles.

Toggle Desktop composition on/off:

      Ctrl+Shift+F9

I recommend disabling this and also setting the vista theme to "Windows Vista Basic".

These can be done by right-clicking on the desktop and clicking "Personalise"  then choosing "Window Color and Appearance"
I must travel the path of conquest... power is necessary in order to walk that path.
